The Tai Chi classes that
Becky Browne has taught through our agency have become extremely popular. The seniors in our area are always asking when she'll be offering another class. With the assistance of a university professor, Becky did a research project measuring the balance and vital capacity (breath) of the students in a couple of her classes offered through our agency. The results were phenomenal. Such results stand as proof of the effectiveness of her teaching style.

I have been doing Tai Chi for almost five years and I love the way it makes me feel. I had chronic pain from an old back injury, and doing Tai Chi regularly helps to keep me pain-free. I also notice that Tai Chi helps to calm my mind and deal better with stress. Becky Browne makes learning Tai Chi a real pleasure. I am a university professor who has taught physical education for over 30 years and I greatly admire Becky's teaching expertise. She is excellent at teaching Tai Chi skills part by part until the entire movement is completed. She emphasizes both the authentic Tai Chi Qigong movements and breathing which is also important for health benefits. Becky truly has a gift for teaching, and this is apparent not only in her classes, but also in her video.

Six years ago I was diagnosed with arthritis in my shoulders and spine. Becky suggested I try Tai Chi. I enrolled in her classes and have since experienced real improvement in breath control, physical strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance. My arthritis has improved so much that had I not seen the x-rays six years ago, I would think there had been a misdiagnosis.

I started Becky's Tai Chi class after losing my central vision. Quite a few of her students have some sort of physical problem. Her skill as a teacher and her never-ending enthusiasm have made her classes a joy. In addition to the release of stress, I have greater confidence through improved balance and awareness of my movements in unfamiliar places. Becky is committed to improving the lives of all of us.

Five years ago, I attended an Arthritis Association meeting where Becky was the guest speaker. I've been in Becky's classes ever since. A year earlier I had lost my husband and going to Tai Chi helped me start living again. Becky has become a close friend and lifts my spirit in every class. Mentally I'm more at peace, and physically, I'm convinced that Tai Chi is keeping me young.

Tai Chi helps to keep our 81 year old joints flexible and boosts our declining energy level. As senior citizens we have limitations that make some of the moves difficult, but Becky is great at adapting them to our needs. She is also very patient on those occasions when our memory lapses make it necessary for her to repeat everything innumerable times. Thanks to her we enjoy the class so much that we try never to miss.

As Public Administrator of my county, I'm responsible for the care, treatment, and finances of 300 individuals.... duties synonomous with STRESS. In Tai Chi, I'm able to concentrate mind and body into meditation of movement and eliminate stress. Becky is a natural teacher. She makes Tai Chi fun, simple to learn, and rewarding mentally and physically.

For over three years now, I have taken Tai Chi Qigong classes from Becky. She has broken down the intricacies of turning around - with great attention to foot placement and weight shifting. My balance has improved dramatically. I have always used a cane, but now no longer need to for short distances!

Working for a dentist, I spend every day pulling x-ray machines around and bending over patients. Becky Browne and Tai Chi have helped relieve my sore muscles for several years. It's fun exercise for your brain and body.
